Ways to join in

Joining LWT is an easy and inexpensive process, which can be very rewarding, so we encourage everyone who has an interest in nature and its conservation to do so and get involved in any way that they can.

For some this will mean joining our bird walks to learn from local experts, or working with other like-minded volunteers on work parties, helping to maintain the varied habitats of Dinton Pastures and Lea Farm Lake. Both of these activities are open to members and non-members alike. Full details on bird walks and work parties can be found by using the links in the sidebar to the right.

Others will find they are more comfortable making a monetary donation to the group, which is equally important in allowing LWT to fund its current and future projects.

Like thousands of other charities we welcome someone remembering us in their Will and have set up a page giving guidelines on how to go about that, even if it involves setting up your first ever Will.

Another way to get involved is to submit wildlife sightings via this website or Berksbirds. This type of ‘citizen science’ allows us to get a clearer picture of what is happening around the park and could help to steer future planning.

Local companies have made valuable contributions by organising staff activity or team building days, thus providing manpower for some important projects. If your company is interested in getting involved in this way, please contact us to discuss how we can co-operate.

Please join in with LWT now and help us to create a better environment for wildlife.

You can visit our ‘become a member’, but for those who prefer online banking our details are;
