Lea Farm Lake – Great White Egret on the north spit island, 2 Snipe just behind the new island on far bank, 12 Meadow Pipit in long grass, Cetti’s Warbler heard calling in front of Ron’s hide, 3 Chiffchaff to the right of Ron’s hide, 2 Stonechat in long grass on far bank (Steve Clarke); Common Sandpiper in the south west corner, Green Sandpiper from Ron’s hide towards Renton’s screen (Philip Giles); 2 House Martin over Lodge Wood Lake (FJC)
Landfill View Point – 3 Grey Plover heading west over the landfill passed a little north of Lodge Wood Lake, 17+ Meadow Pipit dropped on the far landfill, 12 Skylark in groups of two’s and three’s, 7 Goldfinch, 10+ Pied Wagtail, 3 Snipe flew to Lavell’s dropping towards Bittern hide, 25+ Linnet heading south in 3 groups plus a few singles, 7 Mistle Thrush heading west, 2 Raven heading south beyond Lea Farm Lake (FJC)
Black Swan Lake – 10+ House Martin over south end of the lake (FJC)
October 4th
Lea Farm Lake – Great White Egret in the south east corner, 3 Stonechat towards right hand end of the long grass on fence, Meadow Pipit, 2 Chiffchaff one in reed’s next to Ron’s hide another singing nearby, Common Sandpiper, Snipe both on the south east shore, 50+ House Martin drifting over the north east bay, 2 Common Sandpiper briefly on north spit island, 5 Skylark over the sheep on far landfill (FJC)

Landfill Viewing Point – 3 Skylark, 3 Swallow heading south, 2 Chaffinch, Linnet heading south (FJC)
