Lea Farm Lake – 20 Gadwall, Teal, Whitethroat left of Ron’s hide, 2 House Martin heading south, 3 Sand Martin heading south, 8 Swallow, Green Sandpiper on south spit, 4 Common Tern all adults heading north, 36 Herring and Lesser Blacked-back Gull over low heading south west, Kingfisher in front of Ron’s hide briefly, 4 Reed Warbler spread around the reeds (FJC); 2 Kingfishers chasing each other near Renton’s screen (Daniel Ellerby); Red Kite juvenile in the trees on the other side of the river between Ron’s and Renton’s (Pete Lunn)

Lea Farm Lake – 2 Common Tern on the raft and buoys, Little Egret, 2 House Martin feeding low over the trees around Renton’s screen, Whitethroat adult in hedge about 50m north of Ron’s hide, Skylark flushed by tractor on landfill (Trevor Guyatt); Lapwing juvenile still in south west corner (Peter Scudamore)

Lea Farm Lake – Green Sandpiper near Renton’s screen (Alan Jackman); 10 House Martin feeding high over the Loddon by the Green bridge to Ron’s, 2 Common Sandpiper in a pool to the right of Renton’s screen (Kevin Shea)
Lavell’s Lake – 4 Green Sandpiper, 3 Oystercatcher all from Bittern hide (Alan Jackman); Sparrowhawk calling in the distance towards Teal hide (Kevin Shea)

Lea Farm Lake – A small group of Swallow’s stopped for a drink then continued south (Peter Scudamore)
Lavell’s Lake – 5 Green Sandpiper on scrape, Lapwing on the Bund (Peter Scudamore)
August 2nd
Lea Farm Lake – 29 Lapwing including a juvenile which is almost full grown now, 2 Common Tern, 3 Oystercatcher including one juvenile, Great Crested Grebe still sat on the nest, Common Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper, Kingfisher briefly, Sedge Warbler to the left of Renton’s screen in the reeds (Steve Clarke); Red Kite juvenile in the trees opposite side of the river between Ron’s and Renton’s (Pete Lunn); 2 Little Grebe, Green Sandpiper (Adrian Bull); Common Sandpiper juvenile in front of Renton’s screen, 2 Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Tern both adults perched on the raft and a buoy, Peregrine probable male flew low over the lake past the hide and kept going north over Lodge Wood (Trevor Guyatt)
