After waiting most of a year since the legs were built, our building contractor has estimated his team will be able to start the stairs and hide itself around mid June and will take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete. LWT volunteers will try and align construction of the screen fencing to be completed in line with his dates to facilitate membership access as quickly as possible.
For safety of everyone, there will be no access near the construction site by anyone other than authorised contractors, or LWT project management team.
Once the hide is complete, we will announce a new set of locking, unlocking and all related security instructions, which if the budget allows will hopefully include CCTV, both for the security of the hide and to monitor membership visits and their adherence to our instructions on leaving the hide secure.
