Lea Farm Lake – 2 Common Tern both adult’s on the raft and flying around the lake, Green Sandpiper, Lapwing juvenile on the muddy edge of the south west bay, Nuthatch female on the peanut feeder, Stonechat juvenile in the reedy ditch beyond the north east corner, Green Sandpiper between Ron’s hide and Renton’s screen, Green Woodpecker adult female on a tree above Renton’s screen, 8 Mute Swan family two adult’s and six cygnet’s very active all chasing around the old island, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker male and female on same tree as per the Green Woodpecker earlier (Trevor Guyatt); Redshank on the east shore, 2 Common Sandpiper, Little Ringed Plover both in the south west corner (Roger Stansfield)

July 28th
Lea Farm Lake – Common Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper (Alan Jackman); 2 Common Tern on the raft, 12 Tufted Duck two females with ten ducklings between them, Little Ringed Plover flying around the north west bay, 6 Red Kite now on the ground together in the north east corner, 2 Lapwing still in south west bay juvenile with adult (Trevor Guyatt); 2 Little Grebe, 20 Tufted Duck in three separate broods with 17 ducklings all appeared out of north east corner virtually together (Michael Hubbard)
