Lea Farm Lake – Green Sandpiper, Redshank in the south west corner, Green Sandpiper in the north west corner, 5 Little-ringed Plover three in the north east corner and two on the shingle island, Several Common Tern chicks really developed now (FJC); 3 Green Sandpiper (Andy Tomczynski)

Lavell’s Lake – 2 Little Egret one just flown off towards Lea Farm, Kingfisher here briefly, Reed Warbler (Phil Sigley)

June 28th
Lea Farm Lake – Teal male, 5 Oystercatcher the usual pair then three more flew over together from Dinton and kept going north, Redshank juvenile, 2 Green Sandpiper, 7 Little-ringed Plover a family of 4 with 3 further adults (FJC); 15 Lapwing on the north east shore line, 5 House Martin still gathering mud (Michael Hubbard)
Lavell’s Lake – 40 Swift in two group of approximately 20 one over tallest trees at the west end, the other over between the Betty’s bench and the Activity Centre, Little-ringed Plover on the Bund (FJC); 5 Reed Warbler one adult singing and another feeding three juveniles, Kingfisher (Andrew Kitching); 2 Little Egret, 2 Teal both males, Shoveler female, 4 Gadwall all on or within the Bund (Michael Hubbard)

June 27th
Lea Farm Lake – 4 Green Sandpiper, Oystercatcher, Redshank possible juvenile, 4 Little-ringed Plover one on the Tern nesting island one adult and two juveniles in the south west corner (Trevor Guyatt)

White Swan Lake – Great Crested Grebe with 2 chicks on her back (Rebecca Rees)

Lavell’s Lake – Peregrine sparring with a Buzzard towards the west end and drifting towards Lea Farm, Kestrel male high and circling towards the south west, Peregrine probably a different bird high over east of the Car Park field briefly sparring with 3 Raven (FJC)
Black Swan Lake – Kingfisher seen along the Emm Brook adjacent to the old Golf Course (Anne Cronin)
Mortimer’s Meadow – Peregrine on a pylon perched inside the structure not on the top so easily overlooked (Dave Rimes)

Lavell’s Lake – Reed Warbler, Sedge Warbler both singing in the Scrape Reed Bed, Cuckoo ‘bubbling’ nearby, Whitethroat singing from the back, Gadwall (FJC)

Lea Farm Lake – Green Sandpiper visible from Ron’s hide just past the feeders, Reed Warbler (Andrew Kitchen); Peregrine down drinking disturbing the Terns (Nick Kightley); 2 Little-ringed Plover, Ringed Plover, 2 Green Sandpiper, 2 Oystercatcher, 9 Lapwing, Little Egret all seen in the south west corner, 10+ House Martin gathering mud from the north east shoreline (Michael Hubbard)
