Lavell’s Lake – Barn Owl outside of it’s box (Ralph Watts)

Lea Farm Lake – Peregrine over the Landfill going east (Brian Bennett)

January 29th
Lea Farm Lake – 4 Chiffchaff one by a ditch near Teal hide then it flew across the Loddon one by the storm drain at waters edge by the new houses and two along the Loddon, Skylark up then dropped onto near Landfill around brow, 2 Water Rail were in front left of the Ron’s hide (FJC)
Lavell’s Lake – Coal Tit was calling in the garden next to Car Park (FJC); Marsh Harrier over Teal hide then down into the reeds (Sally Bryson-Bond)

January 28th
Lea Farm Lake – 3 Snipe on the east shore, 235+ Lapwing, Shelduck in the south west corner (FJC)
Lavell’s Lake – Cetti’s Warbler heard from Teal hide, Bittern seen from Teal hide (Sally Bryson-Bond); Barn Owl appeared in the Owl Box in the Wet Meadow (Dave Rimes)

January 27th
Lea Farm Lake – Yellow Legged Gull on the ice (Brian Bennett)
Lavell’s Lake – Shelduck landed on the ice in front of Bittern hide (Alan Rymer)

January 25th
Lea Farm Lake – Shelduck asleep on island (Peter Scudamore)
Lavell’s Lake – Barn Owl popped his head out of the box in the Wet Meadow (Colin Holmes)
Black Swan Lake – Kestrel on wires near the Activity Centre (Roger Stansfield)
White Swan Lake – 10+ Siskin still in a small Alder copse immediately south west of the Wooden bridge to the Lake (Dave Rimes)

Lavell’s Lake – Barn Owl sitting in the doorway of the box in the Wet Meadow (Trevor Guyatt); Water Rail in the channel to the Loddon (Rick Dawson)

White Swan Lake – Bittern showing well then merging with the reeds (Simon Huggings); 3 Siskin on the west bank of the Loddon opposite the Lake about 100m north of the bridge (Rick Dawson); Peregrine caught a feral pigeon over the water in front of the Bittern reed bed (John Savage)

Black Swan Lake – Mistle Thrush, 50+ Redwing, 6 Fieldfare, Chiffchaff calling all on the Old Golf Course, Grey Wagtail on the Activity Centre beach (Brian Bennett)

Black Swan Lake – Goldeneye male (Nick Knightley)
White Swan Lake – Bittern in the reeds (Nick Knightley); Bittern flew from left hand platform into centre of reed bed (Phillip Miller)

Lavell’s Lake – 50 Common Gull drifting south over the Landfill all ages, 2 Raven single birds heading west, Peregrine hunting over Landfill very low to ground before heading south (FJC)
Black Swan Lake – Sparrowhawk hunting near the Activity Centre (Steve Clarke); 4 Goldeneye, 2 Common Gull, 7 Pochard all seen from the feeding area (Paul Mattingly)
White Swan Lake – Bittern seen briefly moving through the reeds (Rebecca Rees)

Lavell’s Lake – Little Grebe diving in front of the pollarded Willow (Roger Stansfield); 22 Shoveler, 28 Gadwall, 19 Tufted Duck, 11 Teal in reeds beyond Bund, 8 Wigeon near the western fringe of the lake, Water Rail heard from reeds behind the Bund, Cettis Warbler heard from behind the feeding area (Michael Hubbard)
Black Swan Lake – 3 Goldeneye 2 males and a female between the feeding area and the Activity Centre, Grey Wagtail male, 3 Pied Wagtail in front of the Activity Centre, Common Gull in amongst the Black Headed Gulls at the feeling area (Michael Hubbard)

Lea Farm Lake – Water Rail under feeder, Cetti’s Warbler under hide, 2 Reed Bunting on feeder, Golden Plover came off from far landfill flew towards hide calling then off north, 10+ Meadow Pipit on landfill (FJC); Raven flying over, Sparrowhawk through feeders (Roger Stansfield); Chiffchaff, Bullfinch both on the other side of Loddon beyond the Green Bridge (Marek Walford)
Lavell’s Lake – Kestrel on wires in the Car Park field (John MacGovan)
